Possible a dumb question, but how do you determine the size (speed and capacity) of the network to cater for remote sites i.e. we have sites in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria and the server may be in Sydney or Melbourne. We are migrating to Maximo 7.5 with Websphere. You can assume that the servers will be designed to handle the aoutlined structre. My aplogies if I am not making sense.

Look at the 'Best Practices for System Performance v7.5' whitepaper from IBM. The guide has a chapter dedicated to network performance with links to specific KB docs on IBM's website.
