I am running Maximo 7.1.5 on sql server 2005.
Can Maximo 7.5 be installed on SQL Server 2005?
All of my 7.5 SQL Srvr instances are on 2k8r2, most are 64 bit for memory function. Demos run OK on 32 bit, but I wouldn't run a prod system on it.

I am running Maximo 7.1.5 on sql server 2005.
Can Maximo 7.5 be installed on SQL Server 2005?
Early IBM documentation indicated that Maximo 7.5 would run on SQL Server 2005, but later documentation showed that it required 2008. Because of the mixed messages, we tried implementing on 2005. We were able to install it, and ran it on our development platform for a couple weeks. However, it failed on a couple critical procedures (such as configuring the database). After a number of discussions with IBM, we went back to Maximo 7.1.1.x, upgraded to SQL Server 2008, and reinstalled Maximo 7.5. We have been running Maximo 7.5 successfully for several months now.
