Hello everyone. How has everyone been?
I have a PO that has a status of 'POPV' (Purchase Order sent to Vendor).
The issue is that the workorder on the PO is no longer good because it has a status of 'CLOSE'. How can I remove the old workorder and and input the new workorder that was created?
Hope someone can help me out.

Hi George: I'm not familiar with POPV - maybe it's a synonym for an
out-of-the-box status. If it's a synonym for APPR, then you will need to
have rights to un-approve the PO, i.e. change the status back to WAPPR.
After that, you can change the work order number.

I changed the status of PO back to WAPPR and the workorder field is still greyed out. What else can I try?

Scratch that question - I re-read your original post.
It should be default behaviour to be able to change the work order once the
PO has been un-approved. What happens if you go out of the PO screen, and
then go back to the PO screen and find the PO again? Is it writable then?
If not, you may have some extra security added to that field, although
that's not as easy in 6.2.1 as it is in Maximo 7.
Do you have a Maximo support person you can talk to?
