Custom Class File in Maximo 7.1

From: Ethan (2012-03-01 14:46)

Good Morning;
I have just upgrade my maximo 622 database to 7.1 via the upgrade utility and now I need to know how to incorporate some custom class files from Maximo 622 into my new 7.1 environment.
1. Does anyone have any information on what is required?
2. I installed WAS 6.1 with MXES 7.1 but would rather go to the latest WAS 7 to avoid having to do another WAS install when we get ready to go to MXES 7.5. Is there any problem running WAS 7 with MXES 7.1?
Thanks
My current 7.1 environment is:
Websphere version:
Integrated Solutions Console, 6.1.0.23
Build Number: cf230910.10
Build Date: 3/10/09
Maximo Application version:
D:\ibm\SMP\maximo\applications\maximo>version
Base Services 7.1.1.8-LA20111114-1206 Build 20110105-1024 DB Build V7118-37 HFDB Build HF7118-20,
Common PMP 7.1.1.7 Build 201006041645 DB Build V7117-02,
Transportation 7.1.1.0-20111227-0817 Build 20091209-0841 DB Build V7120-08 HFDB
Build HF7120-07

I can answer the WAS question. We are currently clustering under WAS 7.0.
WAS 7.0 IS supported limitely on MAM 7117+. Check the configuration matrix for exactly what is and is NOT supported.
We are moving from Weblogic 9.2.3 to WAS 70. We are testing our Training environment and havent really had an issue. Dev is partially clustered (load balancer/HTTP Server configs need to be done) and I have worked in them with out problems.
