Maximo 5.2, Windows 2003 Server (32bit), WebLogic Server 7.0 SP7, and Actuate 7 Service Pack 2 Fix 13.
Well this is a strange one! I received calls that people were getting 5003 socket errors when trying to run an Actuate report from Maximo. Usually it's a bunch of scheduled jobs running so I checked the console and there was nothing running. I cleaned out the logs anyway since I was in there. I logged on to the server and ran task manager. It showed activity on the encycsrvr7 running about 10%. I could not find any way to see what was running. I stopped the actuate service, restarted the server, rebuild the ears, etc.. When the actuate service started up again the encycsrvr7 job took off running at 10% again. Still nothing listed in the JOB log on the console that showed any jobs running. After 5 hours it finished and the users were able to get back in. Which is great but I need to still figure this out.
So, is there a file someplace that holds information about what Actuate needs to run? I would think it would be listed on the console under the job's but it does not appear to be there. Any other way to clear the contents out of encycsrvr7 ?
Thanks for your help!
