Is there a way to update the asset or location description when loaded spec values via mif. I have generate description checked on but the asset or location descriptions are not getting updated.

Hi,
Did you specify what will be used to generate the description? For example, did you set the 'Use Classification' checkbox on the Classfication the asset is associated with?
Or did you set the 'Use In Description Generation' checkbox for the particular attribute that you may want to use to generate the asset description?

Hi,
Yes, I have specified what will be used to generate the description - including which attributes. It works fine if I update the spec values in the ui - but not if I update spec values using mif.
