Maximo 7.5 Reload Error since installing Fix Pack and Hot Fix 7.5.0.1

From: shannon (2012-05-08 14:48)

Has anyone else ran into this error? Doesn't seem to happen during a certain event, so its been hard to pin point the issue..
SystemErr R There was a communication problem with the server which will result in the loss of some of your changes. You must reload the application and enter the information again.
SystemErr R Caught an exception at: psdi.webclient.system.session.WebClientSession.handleEvent(WebClientSession.java:1292)
SystemErr R java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
SystemErr R at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor145.invoke(Unknown Source)
SystemErr R at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:37)
SystemErr R at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:611)

From: Molly (2012-05-08 16:25)

We have been experiencing this issue in one of our environments and it has been difficult to pinpoint. We have seen this in conjunction with a ASYNC error as well but not all the time. We have a open PMR on the issue and IBM has suggested bumping up certain WebSphere settings. Since we have done that, the frequency has diminished but it has not been eliminated. If anyone has any suggestions, we are definitely interested.
Thanks!

We did try changing Async Requests Before Rendor but saw a negative impact on the Long Description displaying so we went back to the default.
We are currently looking at implementing AJAX as well.
Do you guys have remote users? Our servers are located in Florida but the users are located in California.

I'd appreciate it.
We we are in Florida where the servers are located and we were only able to get the reload message once on our end. The users California get it more but they are in it more.
Thanks!

Sorry for all the emails. Have you submitted a PMR to IBM on your issue? What is the build information you have for Maximo?
On a side note, did you have an issue with the Status change diaglog box not closing when the status is changed on a workorder? We had this with 7.5.0.1 and had to get a one off hot fix from IBM to resolve that issue.
