You don't have to wait for good data inside MAXIMO to begin thinking about analytical report designs.
There may be a lot of bad data in the database but that should not hold you up from designing the report.
In some cases, once this type of report is written, and run for the first time, it is at this moment the users see the data for the first time and suddenly realize how bad the data is.
