While trying to Update status from Maximo EAM to Maximo IT, when the ACTUAL START & ACTUAL FINISH dates are populated.
We are getting this error:
"BMXAA4494E - Specify actual dates that are in the past."

It sounds like you are trying to post (import) actuals that are in the future.
If these are not in error (i.e. your corporation allows time entry for future work), modify the 'Future Labor Tolerance'.
Go To > Administration > Organization.
Choose the org that you wish to set the tolerance for.
Select Action > Labor Options
Change the tolerance to a number to reflect your business needs. For example: If you allow entry of (anticipated) weekend hours on Friday, you might need to allow for the rest of Friday (up to 18 hours), all day Sat (24 hours), all day Sun (24 hrs) and Mon (8 hrs for night shift). This would mean setting it to 74 or more hours.
Also look at the data records that failed. Your old system might have allowed future entry and people may have checked the wrong year by mistake. These are valid 'bad' records and should not be imported, as is.
