Manhours vs Planned

From: George (2012-06-12 15:01)

Hello everyone,
I've been tasked with a few new items to produce from Maximo. I don't know how to really accomplish this so I'm hoping some of you have some experience with this.
1. Backlog Resources - Planned manhours available for scheduling Divided by available weekly manhours by major craft.
2. Planned Work - Planned work manhours divided by total manhours
3. Schedule Compliance - actual planned work manhours divided by planned hours for that work.
Maximo 6.2.1
weblogic
sql 2005
thx in advance,
mrggutz

Are you being asked to show this in Maximo or produce a report in BIRT/Cognos/Crystal/etc?

Your source for this will be the labtrans and wplabor tables. If you do not use the Calendars app in Maximo, you'll likely need to use a fixed number for your average weekly manhours.
For the third KPI, be careful which work types you include. Do you consistently have planned hours on your PMs/PdMs? Do you have planners that enter work plans on non-emergency corrective WOs? Do you use both target and scheduled dates on the WO? Schedule Compliance typically refers to completing the work when you say you will. The best practice here should be to use the actual completion date versus scheduled completion date (if populated), otherwise the target completion date. Target completion date automatically populates with Work Orders that are generated from the PM application.
Hope this helps.
