We are working on an upgrade from 7.1.1.8 to 7.5. We have TAMIT and TSRM, which we are no longer using and will likely not be using in the future. If we want to upgrade our products as is we would have to purchase Control Desk (IBM is making us purchase Control Desk before they will give us this product - rather than considering this an upgrade and part of our maintenance so we are not too happy about that). Our other option is to uninstall or disable these products before we upgrade.
Has anyone done this before?
If we do decide to keep these - has anyone done an upgrade using the Control Desk? Any issues?
