Folks,
We attempted to import the base7.xml in the Maximo 7.1.1 step/stop of and upgrade to Maximo 7.5 from 6.2.8 so that we had the out of box screens to work from and it created all kinds of problems in the funstionality of the Maximo application (both in 7.1 & 7.5).
Has anyone tried to import the base7.xml file in their Maximo upgrade process and had success?
We had better success if we let the upgarde run on our screens and attempt to upgrade those screens rather then using out of box. (ie did not import any xml files in the upgrade process)
Thinking that IBM neglected the base7.xml file and it is just not correct for the upgrade process since most people would want their screens in the upgrade?
