Create Maximo Database structure after application installation

From: e11271b (2012-07-24 16:44)

I apologize if this is a dumb question.
I have an installation of Maximo on a server where it is pointing to a development database environment. I took a look at what is involved in pointing Maximo to a different database, but found that our production database doesn't have the Maximo schema, users, indexes, etc..
What is the procedure for creating the required Maximo database structures on an Oracle db?

Are you wondering how to create an empty database with the correct structure or update your Production database with the correct structure?

This would be updating an existing oracle database to include the required tables, views, indexes, etc.
I found maxinst. What are the preliminary steps in order to run that script successfully. Do I need to create the maximo schema first or does that script do everything?
