Maximo Mobile 7.5 Inventory Manager Authentication Problem

From: Jean-PIerre (2012-09-06 13:56)

Hello all,
Just installed Maximo Mobile Suite 7.5 Work and Inventory Manager.
First I installed Work Manager and it works well. Client Java mini app is runnning from my laptop and I can create transactions.
Then I installed Inventory Manager and I can't login. I'm getting "Failed to Authenticate User" error at logon.
1. I changed security settings to allow group to use Mobile Inventory Manager
2.I validated server info such as hostname, port, etc.
3. I'm not using LDAP
4. No SSL used
Could this be related to a certification problem like described in this IBM technote?
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21512442
Thanks for helping if you've come across a similar problem.
JP

The certificates should only be a factor if SSL is enabled. The settings for connections should be identical for Work and inventory. Although this is a bit fuzzy as it has been almost a year since I dabbled in this.

Thanks for your reply Andy.
Well, it looks like a simple restart of the app server solved my problem.
I can now log into the Inventory Management app.
