Subject: Things a Consultant will discover when looking at your systemÂ….
1. No clear business rules; what are business rules?
2. End users complain about lack of training, or system speed, or reports (no adhoc)
3. Referential integrity issues
4. The "List Screens" were never modified. Some users not aware of download feature.
5. No one running error checks; not really sure what "error checks" are (missing worktypes, wopriority)
6. No Core Team function; no punchlist
7. No tricks deployed to capture/identify missing foundation data
8. Only few repair work orders have Problem codes entered
9. No labor actuals
10. Work descriptions describe desired action and not the problem
11. Backlog mostly unplanned and growing
12. Too many INPRG; some INPRG work has last reported actual > 3 months ago
13. End users not happy with software or system (management)
14. Upper management struggling to see value; complains about reporting
