Hello everyone,
When creating the workorder and you create a plan for the job can the task workorder number be disabled?
Maximo Oil and Gas 6.2.1
Weblogic
SQL 2005
Thx,
mrggutz
Hi,
You cannot disable the Task's work order number , but you can create new autokey for workorder's
task(Table : woactivity) in database configuration management

Mr Gutz:
There definitely are some options for you. Can you give me some more details behind why you're asking this so I can recommend a solution?

If you are referring to the 'reference WO' - the answer is no. The Tasks are actually Work Orders in the system, the only difference that actually exists between an "Regular" Work Order and a task is the "istask" flag on the row (and in later versions of Maximo like yours - a "woclass" of ACTIVITY)...
Since the Work Order number "wonum" is part of the primary key for all Work Order records - it must be provided and cannot be disabled.
You can however hide them if you really, really needed to... (makes it hard to do a lot of things - like add jobplans to the task... though...)
