We use a MC75 hand held and are trying to implement the scanning process within Maximo 7.1. We use them for simple work order processing be want to take it to the next level and really utilize the scanning process.
We are considering the following scanning processes:
1. Scanning the asset tag and being able to retrieve its 6 month work order history for that asset PM, CM, CP, PPL& RN.
2. Inventory management... processing material in and out of central, satellite, and truck stock inventories.
3. Route/Rounds Management Ability to report actual Meter Readings, Observations, Inspections & Failure reports.
What are some other ideas we can truly utilize the scanning function.
