Multiple Attachments

From: vpsinmood (2012-12-04 20:22)

Hi All,
We have a requirement where there is a need to enable attachments in maximo 7.5 to accept multiple files as attachments. Any help regarding the approach or if this can be achieved ..?
Thanks
Vijet

I don't think the question is very clear, in Maximo you can attach multiple
files to one record as standard behavior, what are you suggesting it
doesn't do?
Chris.

Hi Chris
I guess the question is :
Is it possible to select and attach multiple files at a time?
Vijet
Can you suggest a business use case where this is really required except
saving a couple of clicks for the user?
Thanks
Amit

Hi Amit,
You got it right. It's basically to make the user experience a bit more easy. A work order may have multiple files to be attached and user says its a pain to go through them one by one.
I searched many places to see if I can change the controls of the Jsp to get this working but was not successful.
Thanks
Vijet
