Can't import custom BIRT report with cascading parameters.

I have a custom BIRT(3.7.1) report, that I am trying to deploy to Maximo 7.5.0.3, and getting this error when importing the design file.
BMXAA5457E - The report import process failed. Verify the specified information.
This started occurring after I added cascading parameters to the report. I can import the previous version of the report just fine, but the version with the cascading parameter fails.
No errors in eclipse preview, and the validation passes successfully.
Any ideas?

Where would I look for log entries that are produced when importing reports?
