How/Where Work Orders Generated grab description values?

I have a user generating work orders for PM's. The problem is the description on Work Order is pulled from Job Plan table instead of the PM table.
Now I can run a query to easily fix this but I want to understand why this is happening and how to change it for the future.
Any help much appreciated.

It depends on how we prespect the purpose.
I agree with how maximo do it.
I prespect the description of my pm is for descripting the pm. The other side, the title of my wo should get from the description of my job plan. So If I use job plan sequencing to my pm, I need my generated wo description get from the next job plan description.
