Hi guys,
We are in process of upgrading to 7.5.0.4 and we found out that "__format" parameter that allows a direct output to PDF doesn't work anymore.

It worked fine in 7.1.1.6 but since we upgraded to 7504 it stopped working.
Can you please share if it worked for you in 7.5 and what have you done to make it work?

Hi Shannon,
We still have this issue. Would be nice to have a solution :)
Actually we have some changes - we installed a BIRT Runtime engine and now can print reports outside of Maximo. The Runtime engine allows you to use this parameter and get PDF format.

I work with Patrick ... unfortunately he doesn't help support Maximo here
at Grifols anymore and even if he did, we haven't upgraded to 7.5 yet :(

Hi all,
We have that problem. Unfortunately we can't fix it. It has to do with direct print reports changing from HTML to PDF output. You can open Adobe Reader and go to Edit - Preferences - General (CTRL-K). Then click the JavaScript menu option and enable Acrobat JavaScript. The user may get a message that a program is trying to print and must select to allow, but at least they can direct print. IBM couldn't resolve this for us any other way, but we have security settings also affecting our ability to direct print.
