Our Maximo is focused on Asset numbers and I have trouble with people not turning in an Asset change form. How should assets be set up? They are wanting to change our drilldown so it is not so hard to navigate and I need to see how others have set up the assets so they are focused on location. Need to see a model of Maximo set up correctly, they are planning on upgrading to Maximo 7.5 in a year and I want to be ready to change all the assets and set up correctly.

Take a look at the demo database, the location stricture and especially the systems (of locations) in the Bedford site are quiet well laid out. (For starters)
PSDI/ MRO did a really good job with that part of the Demo DB (it's based on data from a then actual customer, as I understand it...)

Hi Tina,
The demo database comes with Maximo and your folks should have setup a copy of Maximo for comparison...
