Hi Group,
I remember there was a thread where somebody shared their experience with Click software in comparison with IBM Maximo Scheduler. I am unable to find it. Can somebody help me with it or share your thoughts around this subject.
Thanks,
Phanish
I haven't seen Click, but we were ready to choose CiM Maintenance Visual
Planner over Scheduler. That one is worth a look.

Were ready? What happened, if you don't mind? We've seen CiM but felt it was only a few steps ahead of IBMs Scheduler, which we use internally. In a different division of ours Akwire has been rolled out. They seem to like it more than Scheduler. Have you seen that tool?

We are still trying to decide how to do planning and scheduling. We were
ready to go with CiM but then engineering decided since we already use
Primavera software, that we might do an integration with Primavera instead.
We didn't like Akwire because of it being a whole new system to support. I
would rather us put in CiM, but since Primavera is already in our
environment I think it is a good compromise.

Primavera will provide the maximum functionality and flexibility for both routine maintenance scheduling and shutdown/project scheduling. Since your location already uses Primavera, it seems like the logical choice. If you are in Maximo version 7, the functionality and performance of the Primavera Adapter interface is far superior to the previous version 6 Adapter.
Note that the Maximo Scheduler version 7.5.2 which is due out in the third quarter will provide automated scheduling and resource levelling functionality that will significantly enhance its capabilities. It will be interesting to compare it's performance benchmarks with Primavera's performance.

Thanks for that comment, Grant. We are on 7.1. I have heard the the
scheduler for 7.5 is much better but since we are a life science company
with all the validation overhead, it may take a while before we upgrade to
7.5.
But back to Phanish's original question, has anyone seen Click?
