Max 4.1 Downtime

From: Incomm Solutions Inc. (2013-09-11 21:38)

If memory serves me (and my memory is for 4.1.1, not 4.1, but it should be close):

1. when you’re creating a work order, there’s a flag somewhere that says “Equipment Up?” (EQUIPMENT.ISRUNNING), and if you flag that when you’re creating a work order, it can calculate downtime (I think – it’s been a while).
2. On the Actions menu in WOTRACK, there are two items: “Report Downtime” and “Change Equipment Up/Down Status”
3. Finally: if you go into Application Setup, in the Work Order Edit options, you can prompt the user to enter downtime when completing work orders that have certain work types (presumably CM work orders).

Hope this helps.

Subject: [MAXIMO List] Max 4.1 Downtime

Greetings Everyone, I've been tasked with seeing if we can start using the downtime features in Maximo 4.1.

We entered several workorders through "Quick Reporting" that contained the downtime information.

I've been looking at the database tables for the downtime data. This what I found.

The "eqstatus" table does contain a column titled "downtime", however the data we entered does not appear associated to the work orders we entered.

The only other place I've found downtime data is in the "equipment" table where there is a column titled 'totdowntime". This appears to be a lifetime total of downtime for each machine.

Am I looking in the wrong place or does the downtime feature have to be initiated somehow? I would appreciate any help you may be able to give.

Thanks
Glen

Now this is a long time ago but I can vaguely remember there being two records created i.e. when you set it as down and then when its up again and the up again record had the downtime on it

Hi,
I Think it was the EQSTATUS table - there was a record where ISRUNNING was set to No and another where it was set to Yes - The Yes Record had a time difference to the previous No Record to record the down-time periods.
