In Maximo 7 condition monitoring, we notice creating a point automatically creates a meter for an asset (in the assetmeter table). However, when we enter a measurement from a workorder plan (job plan) or in condition monitoring for that point, the meter last reading and last reading date for the asset doesn't get updated (assetmeter.lastreading, assetmeter.lastreadingdate, assetmeter.lastreadinginspctr). Is this a bug or is there a setting we're missing?
For some reason the opposite works, which doesn't make sense. If we update a meter, a measurement (measurement table) is recorded for the point.
