SR's visible after Org & Site are disabled.

From: (2013-11-18 15:51)

Curious if anyone might know why after: A) De-activating a Org and Site in 7.5, and B) Disabling a Users ability to View Inactive Sites (checkbox), and C) the Site is removed from the Security Group, am I still able to view SR's?
WO's and Asset data is not visible anymore, however the SR's continue to display.

Is there another configuration setting somewhere that I need to change?

If there are no other options, my next option is to include a Restriction statement for each affected Security Group.

Thanks for any assistance!
RJ

Hi RJ

Unlike the Workorder table and its views, SRs and the other Ticket table views (Incidents & Problems) are not secured at Site level but are System level. (yep confusing to have Org and Site in there but all historical from what I understand).

You will have to add your own security rules if you want to hide tickets associated with disabled sites from users.

Thanks. Confirmed that a restart of the MXServer did not resolve the issue.
Even though they are System level views, one would think they still would not be visible after disabling. I have added a Data Restriction for the applicable Security Groups and it accomplishes the task nicely. I think I will create a PMR to get the official answer, and maybe resolve in future version.

Thanks again everyone for all your comments.
