Recently we had an Asset fail which caused about 6 hours of downtime and we did some analysis after the problem, we noticed that this Asset had about 15 to 20 medium to critical problems in the last 2 years.
Unfortunately, we tend to trigger on past problem history by relying the Technicians memory.
Has anyone heard of or created a report/KPI in Maximo that would tell us the number of failures each Asset has had over a given time period?
We are currently using Maximo 6.2.1.
You can use the Asset Failure Report – the report displays the failures that an asset went through and the mean time between failures.
For the report to display an output, users must report failures of asset on the work orders.
