I have been successful in loading records from a CSV using the application import functionality. Can you also update records using this same method?
I have an excel file that users fill out record values in while in a disconnected mode and would like to update the associated values on the work order using application import.
We are in the process of implementing Maximo 7.5. I've been using import/export to update our records from our old database. (I'm going from MP2 -> Crystal -> Excel -> Maximo. I don't think you can create new records this way, but updates are possible.
Yes you should be able to update as long as you have the key in the import file, if maximo is creating the workorder number for you then no but if it has the key it should just update the record it finds
