We are on 7.5 and have started working with users to load data in the form of CSV files into Maximo. When I do the preview import to check for issues with the CSV- I have noticed that if the preview has no issues, then a handful of records will actually load into Maximo (during the preview).
Obviously, then when I go to load for real- I have issues where those handful of records that snuck in during the preview already exist and throw errors.
Has anyone else noticed this happening? It happens every time I load a CSV in preview format.
Yes it’s a known issue - and there is a fix for it, I can’t find the ibm note on it but I’m certain the following is the fix
App designer – extsystem – edit dialogs – find “load” dialog – locate the field “Import Preview” -- properties – select advanced tab – set true the “Always Synchronous” check box – Save
