Need for a bidirectional link between Maximo and a scheduling tool

From: (2014-02-27 07:55)

Dear Maximo Experts,
I understand that some Maximo experts developed two-way bridge between Maximo and the third party scheduling tools like MS Project and Primavera. I am looking for an independent Maximo consultant who has the capability, time and interest to build such data transfer tool between Maximo and our scheduling software. Currently, our company does not have anybody who knows Maximo. For operations scheduling, our software and MS Project have similar input data requirements. We can easily modify the format of input / output files of our software if there is any need for simplifying the development of data transfer tool. Any independent Maximo consultant who is interested in this work can contact me at prasad@optisol.biz .

I hope this open request would not be considered as unwelcome solicitation.

Best regards,

Prasad Velaga

You need to talk to Mohamed Skandaji, one if the members here, he couldn't align better with what you're asking. Chris.

Thanks Chris for the suggestion. Yes, I did first contact Mohamed Skandaji privately but got no response from him at all. Then, I sent the same request to a related discussion thread started by him and there is an evidence that he is aware of my request. He may have some valid professional reasons to not help us. But, I hope there are some other Maximo experts who have the required skill.

Prasad

Doesn’t Maximo have the connectors for these systems ? I remember seeing them in the documentation. You’d have to install them and then configure them to work but it’s core functionality. Regards, Eric
