We have an inventory item with an associated asset (RAR) that has been orphaned in the Holding Location. Orphaned meaning that in error an attempt was made to receive the repaired asset through receiving. It was when the system prompted for a serial number (as is the case for a new asset) that it was realized that this repair should not have been received in this manner. Attempts were made to credit the receipt to no avail. Finally as a last ditch effort to get the asset out of the Holding Location, the purchase order was deleted.
Now we have an asset in the Holding Location with no known way to get it out.
