Hi All,
We have a requirement to copy the locationspec to workorderspec ( with ALN values) upon creating workorder since the technician wants to see location attributes and values for that work location. So created a classification and attached to both location and workorder. Populated locationspec attribute and values.
I tried crossover domain(LOC2WO added classstructureid column ) to create the workorderspec but the ALN values for the location assetattributes are not getting copied..
While looking into the WorkOrderSpec.java, Maximo copies only Jobplan spec to workorder from other modules.
Has anybody solved this or copying assetspec to workorder( similar issue) by using automation script or customization.
Appreciate your inputs
Thanks
Bobby
Where do you need to "see" them? Why not dust create a relationship to LOCATIONSPEC and display the locations attributes? There's really no benefit to copying them unless you need a snapshot of them as they were at a given point in time. Chris.
