Hi,
I know this must be a somewhat common need for anyone building maximo and TPAE-based products reports: I need to show time elapsed since a service request was open to the moment when it was closed, but the time should be not continuous time but calendar-based (something like the SLA functionality present in maximo). I surmise there must have been a couple different ways to go, but I want to know if there is something off the shelf that might be of help here and has minimal impact, considering this is for reporting purposes.
I initially had a simple java class that made the calendar-based calculation and then inserted the data in a custom column for the ticket object, but it seems awkward to me that there's no more natural way of doing it.
Even the simplest hint as to which way should I go would be of help,
