We're performing an upgrade from version 4.1 en MSSql server to version 7.5 en MSSql server.
When trying to run Integrity Check tool the system shows an error: Invalid Column Name "SUID". This is preventing us from keep on going with the upgrading.
Any thoughts???
Are you just migrating the SQL database, or did you use IBM's upgrade
tools? Also, the integrity checker log files sometimes give more details.

Hi Shirley: I thought I was the only one that had a client that upgraded from 4.1 to 7.5. Fun, isn’t it?
Which Integrity Checker are you running? Are you on Version 4.1 or 4.1.1? It makes a difference.

What stage of the upgrade are you on? Are you just starting the upgrade from 4.1 or partway thought UID fields were introduced sometime in 6.x if I remember correctly. The integrity log (same folder) will provide much more information as to the error detected including possibly the exact sql statement ran.

Hi Group,
We're using IBM's Migration Kit and running the Integrity Check for Maximo
v4.1.
We're on the First Step Data Integrity 4.1 and already checked the files
without finding out what is the root of the problem and the solution.
Thanks all,

As I recall, in order to run the upgrade from 4 to 5.2, you have to be at Version 4.1.1 Patch 8 ideally, or (I think) 4.1.1 Patch 6 at the minimum … also, if you have the old MIG installed (for interfaces), you need, ideally, to also run the special MIG upgrade. The interfaces changed to a different architecture in 5.2 (via WebMethods), which was later made obsolete as well, but I find that running the MIG upgrade results in a cleaner 5.2 installation, which in turn makes it easier when you’re trying to do the 5.2 – 6.x upgrade.
Also: Do you have non-numeric sequences for your Job Plan Tasks? That’s a problem we ran into – the 5.2 upgrade won’t take them.
If you want, feel free to send your log file my way – I might be able to help.
