Hi there, I just wondered if you had any ideas regarding this situation?
Process:
I added three attributes for the specification for backflow preventors in the Classification Table (Model, Size, Installed-System)
I created an Asset Template for the creation of Backflow Preventor assets, and used that Classification.
A clerk created some Backflow Preventor assets, using the Asset template.
Results:
The Assets that were already in existence that had been created by me some time ago immediately displayed these attributes for filling out.
The Assets that the clerk created using the Asset Template did not display the attributes, but did allow for them to be chosen one by one and then filled out. This, obviously, is a laborious task and it would be better if they all behaved the way the first group did.
I created some assets this morning using the template, and it behaved the same way as when the clerk created the assets, i.e., no attributes were displayed on those records. So that rules out differences in security access (I think).
Any ideas as to why this might have happened?
