Successfully I installed middleware now I am installing Maximo asset management,
firstly it asked for DB2 server information, it validated successfully .
secondly it asked for Websphere application server deployment manager information and validated giving the following error.
"CTGIN2534E: Unable to connect to the WebSphere Deployment Manager on 10.10.10.10. Ensure that the user ID and password provided are correct and that the Deployment Manager is running."
I could able to ping ip 10.10.10.10
Deployment manager is also started and username and password also correct.
Please help I tried it for more than 5 times I stuck at the same step.
Without knowing your exact environment, I can suggest several things to check.
1. your firewall might be blocking it.
2. Wasadmin password might be wrong.
3. User credentials to connect to the websphere server are incorrect.
Most of the times this kind of errors are due to credentials issue (password was changed/incorrect or the user does not have the rights)
