I've started poking around and changing some things in a fresh new install of Maximo 7.6 on SQL Server 2012. Navigation seems slow, especially within child table windows.
I'm using a brand new tablet with tons of memory and a good processor. I'm using Internet Explorer 11 with 2 tabs -- one has our current Maximo 6.2.6 installation and the other our new, OOTB Maximo 7.6. Navigating in 6.2.6 is noticeably faster than 7.6 when searching, moving between an application's tabs, and especially when moving from row to row, or even to different fields within the same row, in a child table.
Any tips on how to speed up performance? I even connected to the IBM v7.6 demo website, and their navigation was faster than on my system, so I know it can be done. I imagine it's either something having to do with the changes they've made to client vs. server side data validation, or some setting in SQL Server. Google searching hasn't yielded much that's helpful.
