For ALNDOMAIN, I'm asking them to include a Sequence field and an Image placeholder.
For Sequence, specifically I was thinking of my domain of thread sizes for a bolt. It has a logical sequence, but sorting alphabetically distorts the sequence, and it has to be ALN/can't be NUMERIC. Another example might be if you have a list of Countries, and you wanted your country to be at the top of the list.
For pictures/images, I was thinking about different attributes of screws. . .you could put pictures of the different Drives or Heads of the screws alongside the text value in your domain. Or pictures of the different shapes of light bulbs. Or pictures of the various configurations of wire rope "braiding". Actually, I can think of all kinds of uses for a visual search like this when searching for parts (Item Master/Inventory).
