Hello All,
Recently the server team cloned the production VM onto the UAT,but we are unable to launch the admin console even after setting the hostname to the UAT IP address.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few places where you need to find and replace the servername. Serverindex.xml, this file exists in 3 places (depending on your configuration). wsadmin.properties, this file occurs exists in two locations (again depending on your configuration). The httpd.conf file must be modified with the new servername as well. The cache must be cleared. If you are running SSO, there's much more too.
It's a pain the first time, but if you keep good notes, you can come up with a process that works for your specific configuration and after that it's just going right down the list and you can have a new server up and running in under an hour.
