I've encountered a problem where I want to crossover data from MRLINE to PRLINE to (optionally) RFQLINE to POLINE to INVOICELINE. In summary, this is going to help me in our Receiving area and in my configuration of User conditional access.
There isn't a way for we customers to create such a crossover -- I've tried, and gone through a very knowledgeable IBM Support tech who agrees with me. Out-of-the-box, there's some legacy code (pre-dating version 4.1.1) that has some extra fields with hard-coded crossover capability.
But here's the problem: Out of all those extra fields, there are 10 that start at the beginning, MRLINE. Five of those it almost seems like they made with the intention of addressing this problem, but all they did was make the fields; they didn't put in the crossover code functionality. The other 5 cross to PRLINE. Then they cross to POLINE. Great! But if you take your PRLINE to an RFQLINE instead of directly to a POLINE, the data has nowhere to cross to, and once you create your POLINEs from those RFQLINEs the crossover does not happen.
Alternatively, there are extra fields that can cross from PRLINE to RFQLINE to POLINE (and some that then cross to INVOICELINE) but they don't start at MRLINE.
