stocked tools application error

Dear All Concerns,

Stock tools application when I issue tool , I encounter error
"Required field GL Debit Account is blank"
even there is no GLACCOUNT Filed in front end, or in toolinv table. please guide me what's seems to be the problem

Environment
Maximo 6.2.4
Bea Web Logic 8
Actuate Server 8
Windows 2008
Oracle 10G

You need to set the coding for the tool.   This can be done via Chart of Accounts / Resource Codes for all tools. To set different codings for each tool, go into the Tools application, retrieve the tool, and pick Select Action / Organization Settings.

I have done all the things which you mentioned , tools are now transferring to different storeroom but tools are not issuing.

The GL Debit Account depends on where you're issuing it to. Are you issuing
it to a work order? If so, the work order GL Account needs to be populated.
