Maximo 7.5.0.8 IFACE/MEA outbound process - New Asset record or Asset Update ?

From: bob.blakely (2016-01-12 14:52)

I am trying to figure out using the interface rule processing if there is a way to determine if my asset record is a new asset transaction that gets published or if it's an update of an existing asset. I can then Set a value to 'Add' or 'Update'. Been a while. I added the non-persistent field 'Action' thinking it might tell me but it's empty. Oh well. All you experts! Please guide my path!! :-)

Thank You!

I am trying to import work flows and I am now receiving this.I tried recreating everything and I still am seeing this.Anyone have any ideas?  <ERRORMESSAGE>The following error occurred while processing WFPROCESS. The object structure number is 1.BMXAA4195E - A value is required for the To Node field.</ERRORMESSAGE>
(There is no to node tag in the xml file which was an export from a working workflow).
Thanks

Send me the XML, I think you have an export issue.

I looked at my old notes and couldn't find this issue, but I know I've encountered it before with 6.2.1

I think what I did was I went back to the object definitions and manually verified that I had each attribute checked for import-export.

A cheap hack might be to create a simple workflow in 7.5.0.8, export it , and look to see if there's a tag diff. Moreover, see if you can import it back.

Sorry bud, I looked at 19 years of notes for ya but I couldn't dig this one out.
