Is there any sub-contractor portal type of software product out there which works with Maximo very well?
The portal should allow sub-contractor users to update their profile, upload license, insurance certificates, receive work from Maximo, update work order status and submit invoice against work orders etc.

All of that could be done with base Maximo if you needed to.
- Update their profile, and upload licenses and insurance
certificates: give them access to their Person record and/or their Company
record (with suitable security restrictions so they don't see anybody
else's).
- Receive work from Maximo and update work order status - give them
access to work orders (maybe a clone of work orders if you don't want some
fields to be visible)
- Submit invoice against work orders - set up a Labor contract for
them, then give them access to Labor reporting, assuming they bill by the
hour and not just time & materials. Alternatively, you could just have them
attach the invoice to the work order ...
Just the thoughts off the top of my head.
