I am getting an error that both location and asset cannot be specified. I have assets and locations in all my PMs but there are some random PMs that are not generating. When I try to make any changes they give me the following error:
BMXAA3635E - Asset and location cannot both be specified
Any ideas why I am only getting this error on random PMs?
Not sure why its only random ones, but in my experience a PM record should
only have an asset, or a location, but not both. If the PM is for an asset,
the asset # is the one that matters the work orders will still have the
Location on them. The only time you would have a Location on a PM record is
when the job is for all assets at a Location, or maybe a generalized job
with no particular asset.

I didn't realize the data provided had both location and asset in it, and loaded as it was given. It worked on most of them, until we loaded the 7.6.03 patch then they all stopped working. I have since removed the location from the PM and added the asset location to the PM screen so the engineers won't try to change it. They all seem to be working now.
