I have nearly 4000 items that need to be marked obsolete. I had tried doing that from the status to the list, but realized you have to go to each item and go to Select Action--> Item/Organization Details and mark each item first "Pending Obsolescence" then mark them "Obsolete'. I have also tried creating a MIF that looks like this that did not work:
EXTFLAT,SC_ITEMORG,Change
ITEMNUM,ORGID,STATUSIFACE,CHG_STATUS,ITEMSETID
Anyone have any suggestions?
What is the error you're receiving on the mid import?

No error at all. It just isn't marking them Obsolete (or Pending Obsolescence).
Oh. Import Preview has given me a clue:
BMXAA5598E - Processing of an inbound transaction failed. The processing exception is identified in document 1.
BMXAA4183E - Constructor not found. Use database configuration to check the field class registered and ensure that it is valid and included in the deployment.
null
I do the job by selected every 100 items at the tab List of Item Master
app, then do changing status all the selected items from the select
actions menu.
Redo this job every 100 items untill finish.
Hope this will help you. Thank you.
