Should I be telling Safety Department that tracking the qualifications of vendors' employees is the duty of the vendors?
Looking for best practice guidelines.

Vendor qualification... thinking this through, for something like contract work, the qualification is handled in the contract, i.e. vendor promises to provide certified resources and can produce credentials on demand.
Are you responsible for checking certs? Does the contract specify who is responsible for that?

I have proposed that same argument, i.e., that we should not be responsible for tracking their employees' certifications.
