Does anyone have work around to install maximo 7.6 on a windows 2016 server?
A workaround? Why, it doesn't install?
My prod is running on a 2012 box - but I need a sand box.
So I have an available 2016 server - but when installing maximo - ibm checks for the server and does not install .
So I am installing websphere on the 2016 and then just grabbing the ear from the 2012.

Can you provide more details? Maybe a Help > System Information from your prod box?
What is the error message that IBM check is giving you?
Your question is really vague and needs more details.
In the Product Compatibility Matrix, there is no mention of Windows Server 2016 yet:

Subject to the normal IBM disclaimer that things may change, The Feature pack for this Quarter (I would guess 7.6.0.8) should have support for windows 2016 and SQL server 2016. At least this is according to the latest roadmap presentation I saw this morning. Andy
