Make a weekly PM ....and in the description say ...
Take/capture hourly readings.
The purpose of the PM is to
1) capture readings
2) capture worker time
In this case the job step instructions may not be significant.
Do you have an external regulation that says a Maximo work order record must be created at frequency you specified?

We do not have a regulation requiring a work order (at the moment), this is more for accountability. Lots of PM readings, and inspections, happening around the clock with few people to verify they are taking place. We don't want to assume they are being done, because unfortunately, when something does get our attention, its broken, and there has been too many people and too much time to identify when the "break" of PM took place.
