public class TextSearchScript
extends CommonShell

Output a script that contains all the "db2text" commands to enable or disable text search for all tables on the database. This is used ONLY for DB2. Presumably, if someone is running this, they have already run some other utility (Maxinst, ConfigDB, etc.) with a parameter indicating not to execute "db2text" commands. The script name is db2text_tsscript.bat, and it is output to the same directory as the logfile. A second script, db2text_tsscript.sh, is also output, for Unix shell script.

The commandline parameters for TextSearchScript are as follows, in addition to those in the superclass CommonShell.

Parameter ID	Parameter Value	Description
-t	Table names delimited by commas	This is optional. If this parameter is used, then the names of the Maximo tables to be adjusted will appear after this parameter, delimited by commas. For example: -tITEM,TOOL,WORKORDER If not specified, then all tables will be adjusted.

This constructor does nothing. Used when running from the DOS prompt.

TextSearchScript

public TextSearchScript(MXServer server)

This constructor accepts parameter for MXServer and sets value for mxs. Used when invoked from the Config application.

Method Detail

process

public void process()
             throws java.lang.Exception

Main processing method for this program.

Get metadata for all tables (or for the specified tables if using the -t parameter). For each table, call TextSearch method adjustTextSearchOneTable. This will examine the flags on maxobject and maxattribute, and enable or disable text search as needed. It will execute any sql statements and output any db2text statements to a file.
