I have a field in Maximo for Contract Number (PURCHVIEW.CONTRACTNUM). I have created a BIRT Report and it works except I cannot seem to get the lookup working for it.
There is a standard lookup called "contract" in Maximo and it is already set up with the PURCHVIEW table. However, in the database configuration, there is no domain or 'Class:' (java class) information attached to the PURCHVIEW.CONTRACTNUM attribute.
I couldn't set up the lookup for this. However, some contractor has already setup a lookup using a CROSSOVER DOMAIN with the Work Order table and the PURCHVIEW and in that case, the PURCHVIEW.CONTRACTNUM is linked well and produces a lookup (with the WO Table). Do you know if you can help me here – thanks

I am using a table domain for one attribute in locations application. when i use same domain in advanced search tab of locations application it is giving invalid binding. Can you tell me if there is some different approach to be followed for table domains in advanced search tab?
How does one modify the columns that appear in a lookup? I want to remove some fields and add others… All part of the same table.
You can edit any lookup table in the lookups.xml file.
You must modify the columns in the LOOKUPS.xml Just look at the existing records and you should be able to determine how to do this. Make sure you update the column numbers when you remove or ad an item.
